Lighting for the rooms you tile

Lighting and tiles change how each other look. A wall light skimming across a textured tile shows off every edge, and warm light brings out the colour in travertine, terracotta and timber. We added lighting to our range so you can choose both together, with the same team that helps you pick your tiles.

What is in the range

• Wall lights: the biggest part of the range, from compact sconces to statement pieces. Designs include the Caspia Frosted, the Shelby and Harlow ceramic lights, the Moko Bronze and the Tavern round and oval.
• Table lamps: plug-in lamps such as the Doluce, Artdomus, Anna and Ollo for bedsides, consoles and living rooms.
• Pendant lights: the Pearl pendant wall light, a soft, rounded shape for a small focal point.

Matching materials to tiles

Several lights use the same materials you find on our floors and walls. Stone lights sit naturally beside marble and travertine tiles. Hand-glazed ceramic lights pair well with zellige and handmade tiles, which share the same gentle variation in glaze. Frosted and opal glass gives a softer, more even light for bathrooms and hallways.

Planning your lighting

• Hardwired lights must be installed by a licensed electrician. Plan the positions before you tile, so the cables come out exactly where you want them.
• In bathrooms, check each product page for suitability and ask your electrician about the wet zones around the shower and bath.
• Place wall lights either side of a mirror, rather than only above it, for even light on your face.
• Layer your light. Combine ceiling lights for tasks with wall lights and lamps for the evening, and ask your electrician about dimming.
