Everything for the shower in one box

A shower set combines the parts you would otherwise buy one by one: a hand shower, a rail or bracket, and often an overhead rose. It is the simplest way to get a shower that looks consistent, with every piece in the same design and finish. Add a shower mixer to control the water and you are ready to go.

Types of shower set

• Rail shower: a hand shower on a sliding rail, so you can set the height for each person. Examples include the Caroma Urbane II and Contura II rail showers, the Urbane II Universal rail shower and the ADP Eternal hand shower on rail.
• Rail shower with overhead: a rail and hand shower plus a fixed rose above, such as the Liano II, Riviere and Contura II rail showers with overhead, and Urbane II with a 200 mm or 300 mm overhead.
• Compact twin shower: a compact version with an overhead rose and hand shower, from Contura II, Liano II, Riviere and Urbane II.
• Combination rail: Meir's Round combination rails pair a 200 mm or 300 mm rose with a single or three function hand shower. The Harrington combination rail set is another option.
• Gooseneck set: a tall column with a curved gooseneck arm and rose, from Meir Round and the ADP Soul Classic and Slimline sets.

Single or three function hand shower

A single function hand shower has one spray pattern. A three function hand shower lets you switch between patterns, for example a soft spray, a stronger jet and a massage. The Liano II microphone rail shower also has three functions.

Does a set need a diverter?

If your set has both an overhead rose and a hand shower, you need a way to switch between them. Some sets include this and some rely on a diverter mixer, so check the product page and plan it with your plumber. Most sets come in chrome, nickel, gold and black. Compare all showers, or buy parts separately as shower roses, shower arms and hand showers. Pair the finish with shower tiles.
