A stone pull for the front door

The front door is the first thing guests touch, and a stone entry pull turns it into a feature. Our Stone Circular Front Door Entry Pull is carved from natural stone, measures 200 mm and comes as a pair, one for the outside face of the door and one for the inside. It suits pivot doors and large hinged entry doors.

Choose from Travertine, Silver Travertine, White Onyx, Hermes Grey Marble and Silver Wave Marble. Because each pull is cut from real stone, the veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so yours will be one of a kind.

Pulls and locks work together

An entry pull is for opening and closing the door. It does not latch or lock on its own, so an entry door pairs the pull with a separate keyed lock or smart lock. See our locks for the mortice lock, or look at the Lock and Entry Door Package in hardware packages. Ask your builder or door maker how the lock and pull will sit together before the door is drilled.

Choosing the stone

Think about the colours on both sides of the door.

  • Travertine and Silver Travertine suit warm, natural facades, timber doors and travertine or limestone paving at the entry.
  • White Onyx has a soft, creamy glow and suits pale or painted doors.
  • Hermes Grey and Silver Wave Marble sit well with charcoal and black doors and grey stone look tiles.

Carry the same stone inside with stone cabinet pulls and knobs, so the entry links to the kitchen or bathroom.

Outdoor exposure

The outside pull faces the weather. Natural stone is durable, but it keeps its colour best when sealed, and a covered entry or porch gives extra protection. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and avoid acidic cleaners. For help choosing, book a free design consultation and bring a photo of your front door.

FAQs

Does a stone entry pull lock the door?

No. An entry pull is a fixed pull for opening and closing. Your door still needs a separate lock, such as a mortice lock, deadbolt or smart lock.

What kind of door suits a 200 mm round entry pull?

It suits pivot doors and wide hinged entry doors, where a large pull is easy to grab and in proportion with the door. On a narrow door it can look oversized, so check the door width first.

Can a natural stone door pull be used outside?

Yes. Stone is durable outdoors, and keeping it sealed helps it hold its colour. A covered entry offers extra protection, and gentle cleaning keeps the surface looking its best.

Why is a front door pull sold as a pair?

You need a pull on both faces of the door, one to close it from outside and one from inside. The pair comes in the same stone so both sides match.
