Complete Caroma toilet suites from the Contura II, Urbane II and Riviere ranges, in close coupled, in-wall cistern and wall hung styles, all with Cleanflush rimless bowls.

Three styles of toilet suite

  • Wall faced close coupled: the cistern sits directly on the pan, and the back of the pan sits flush to the wall to hide the pipes. It is often the simplest swap when you are replacing an existing toilet.
  • Invisi Series II in-wall: the cistern is concealed inside the wall, with a wall faced pan on the floor and a flush button on the wall. The Urbane II Compact version suits tighter rooms.
  • Wall hung: the Contura II wall hung suite floats off the floor on a frame inside the wall. The open floor underneath is easy to mop and makes a small bathroom look larger.

Back entry or bottom inlet?

Close coupled suites come in two versions, named for where the water connects to the cistern. Back entry connects from the wall directly behind the cistern, and the pipe is hidden. Bottom inlet connects underneath the cistern, which suits bathrooms where the tap sits lower or to the side. Check where your water point is before you order, or ask your plumber about moving it during a renovation.

Choosing a range

  • Contura II: soft, rounded curves that suit relaxed and coastal bathrooms.
  • Urbane II: crisp, squared lines for a modern, architectural look.
  • Riviere: close coupled suites in back entry and bottom inlet versions.

Many Caroma ranges share their name with matching tapware and accessories, so you can carry one design through the room. All the suites here use a Cleanflush rimless bowl, which has no hidden rim for grime to collect under.

Plan around the suite

The toilet affects your tile layout, your vanity position and where the plumber runs pipes, so choose it early. In-wall and wall hung suites need the frame installed before the wall is sheeted. Pair your suite with basins, wall hung vanities and bathroom tiles, add a soft close seat when the old one wears, or see bidet suites for built-in washing. FAQs

What is the difference between back entry and bottom inlet toilets?

The names describe where the water supply joins the cistern. Back entry is fed from the wall behind, with the pipe hidden, and bottom inlet is fed from below the cistern. Choose the one that matches your existing water point.

What is a wall faced toilet?

A wall faced toilet has a pan that sits flush against the wall, with the waste and pipes hidden behind it. There are no gaps or exposed bends at the back, so it looks neater and is quicker to clean.

Which toilet suite suits a small bathroom?

In-wall and wall hung suites take up the least visual space because the cistern is hidden. The Urbane II Compact Invisi Series II suite is made for tighter rooms, and a wall hung pan leaves the floor clear.

What is a rimless toilet?

A rimless bowl has no curled rim around the top, so there is nowhere for bacteria and stains to hide. Caroma calls its rimless design Cleanflush, and it makes the bowl faster to clean.

Does a wall hung toilet need special framing?

Yes. A wall hung pan is supported by a frame and in-wall cistern built into the wall cavity, so it must go in before the wall is sheeted and tiled. Plan it with your builder and plumber early.
