Cabinet handles in steel and stone

This collection brings together the Zephra cabinet handles and pulls, in two families. The steel handles come in the Knurled and Linear profiles: solid stainless steel with a PVD finish in Aged Bronze, Brushed Gold, Brushed Nickel, Gunmetal and Matte Black. The stone pulls are carved from natural stone, in circular, fluted circular and classic pull shapes, in Travertine, Silver Travertine, White Onyx, Hermes Grey Marble, Silver Wave Marble and Rosso Levanto.

Want a smaller piece for drawers or small doors? See our cabinet knobs, which come in the same profiles and stones.

How to choose the right handle size

Handle length is about proportion. As a rough guide:

  • 160 to 170 mm suits drawers, vanity doors and small cabinet doors.
  • 265 to 320 mm suits standard kitchen doors and wide drawers.
  • 500 mm makes a statement on tall pantry doors, wardrobes and large drawers.

Measure the door or drawer front, and check the hole centres on the product page before you drill. If you are replacing old handles, matching the existing centres saves filling holes. Many people use one long size on tall doors and a shorter size on drawers, in the same profile, so the whole run reads as one design.

Steel or stone?

Steel handles are hard-wearing and comfortable to grip every day, which makes them a safe choice for busy kitchens. The knurled texture adds grip and a crafted detail, while the linear fluting is finer and calmer.

Stone pulls bring a natural, tactile accent. Each piece shows its own veining and tone, so no two are exactly alike. They look great on a vanity, where they can echo marble or travertine tiles on the walls.

Match handles across the home

One finish for the whole house gives a calm, joined-up result. Choose a cabinet handle finish that sits with your tapware, such as brushed gold with gold tapware or matte black with black tapware, then carry the same profile through to your door handles. FAQs

What size cabinet handle should I use on kitchen drawers?

Most drawers suit a handle of around 160 to 270 mm, depending on the drawer width. Wide pot drawers can take a longer handle. A handle roughly a third of the drawer width usually looks balanced.

What is a PVD finish on a cabinet handle?

PVD stands for physical vapour deposition. The colour is bonded onto the stainless steel as a thin, hard layer, so it resists scratches and fading better than paint. Clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap.

Do stone cabinet pulls need special care?

Treat them like any natural stone surface. Wipe them with a damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner, and avoid acidic or abrasive products. Expect some variation in colour and veining from piece to piece.

Can I use the same handle in the kitchen and bathroom?

Yes. Using one profile and finish across kitchen, vanity and laundry joinery is an easy way to make a home feel consistent. Just choose a length that suits each door size.
