Stone Shower Screen Kit | Zephra

Natural stone shower screen knobs in round, rectangular and clover shapes, in six stones, for frameless and semi-frameless glass doors, with a through-glass fixing kit.

A small detail on the shower screen

The knob on a glass shower door is usually a plain metal button. Swapping it for natural stone is one of the simplest upgrades in a bathroom. Our shower screen knobs come in three shapes, round, rectangular and clover, in Travertine, Silver Travertine, White Onyx, Hermes Grey Marble, Silver Wave Marble and Rosso Levanto. The Stone Shower Screen Kit covers the through-glass fixing.

Will it fit my screen?

Shower screen knobs fix through a hole in the glass door. Before you order:

  • Check the existing hole. If your door already has a knob, measure the hole and the glass thickness, and compare them with the product details.
  • Never drill toughened glass yourself. Safety glass shatters if it is drilled after toughening, so any new hole must be made by the glass supplier before the panel is toughened.
  • Frameless and semi-frameless doors are the usual fit. Framed screens often have a built-in handle.

Matching the rest of the bathroom

The best stone choice picks up something else in the room.

  • Travertine and Silver Travertine sit with warm travertine tiles and limestone looks.
  • White Onyx suits soft white and cream schemes, and pairs with onyx tiles.
  • Hermes Grey and Silver Wave Marble work with grey and white marble tiles.
  • Rosso Levanto is a confident red stone for a bold feature.

Repeat the same stone on the vanity with cabinet knobs for a matched look, and choose fittings that sit with it from shower sets and tapware.

Caring for stone in the shower

Natural stone in a shower meets water and soap every day. Wipe the knob dry when you can, use a pH-neutral cleaner, and avoid acidic or bleach-based bathroom sprays, which can etch stone. Each knob is natural, so tone and veining vary slightly. See the full range in stone hardware.

FAQs

Can I replace the knob on my existing shower screen?

Usually, yes, if the glass already has a hole for a knob. Measure the hole and the glass thickness, then check them against the product details before you order.

Can I drill a new hole in my shower screen glass?

No. Shower screens are toughened safety glass, which shatters if drilled. Any new hole has to be cut before the glass is toughened, so speak to your glass supplier.

Will a stone knob be damaged by water in the shower?

Stone handles water well, but soap scum and harsh cleaners can dull it over time. Clean it with a pH-neutral product, avoid acidic or bleach sprays, and wipe it down when you squeegee the glass.

Which stone knob shape should I choose?

Round is the most classic and easy to grip. Rectangular suits square-edged, modern bathrooms, and clover adds a decorative touch. Match the shape to your cabinet knobs if you want a set.
