Bathroom vanities from Aulic's Diamond Collection and our own Serano Surfaces packages, from compact powder room minis to 1200mm wall hung cabinets. Buy the cabinet, add a top, or get the full package.

Our vanity range

  • Aulic: the Diamond Collection, with wall hung Briony, Curva, Venetta and Voulari cabinets, and the floor standing Civaro, Mini Ravia and Mini Hartelle for small rooms. Finishes include Harvest Oak, Walnut and Matte White, with framed and fluted fronts.
  • Serano Surfaces: Design Tiles' own range of complete vanity packages, the Ballina and Broadhurst, each with a Taj Mahal top, basin and LED mirror.

Step 1: pick the width

Measure the wall, then allow for the door swing, toilet and shower screen.

  • Under 500mm: the Aulic minis at 420, 450 and 470mm suit powder rooms and guest toilets.
  • 750 to 900mm: the most common choice for ensuites and family bathrooms. See 900mm vanities.
  • 1200mm: for main bathrooms with a long wall. See 1200mm vanities.

Step 2: wall hung or floor standing

Wall hung vanities keep the floor clear, make a small room feel bigger and are easy to clean under. They need solid fixing in the wall. Floor standing vanities suit homes where the pipes come through the floor, lightweight walls and a furniture look.

Step 3: top and basin

Decide whether you want an inset, under counter or above counter basin before you order the top. Most Aulic vanities come as a cabinet only or with a top. If you buy cabinet only, choose from our basins and have the top cut to suit. The packages come with the top and basin already matched.

Step 4: tapware

Match the tap to the basin. Above counter basins need a tall mixer or a wall spout with enough reach. Inset and under counter basins take a standard basin mixer. Wall mixers must be roughed in before tiling, so make this decision early. Our designers can help you plan the whole vanity wall at a free design consultation.

FAQs

What size vanity should I get?

Measure the wall and subtract the space needed for the door, toilet and shower. Powder rooms usually suit a vanity under 500mm, ensuites and family bathrooms 750 to 900mm, and larger main bathrooms 1200mm.

Do your vanities come with a basin?

The Ballina and Broadhurst packages include a top, basin and LED mirror. Aulic vanities are sold as a cabinet only or with a top, so check the product page and add a basin if needed.

Which is easier to install, wall hung or floor standing?

Floor standing vanities are simpler because they rest on the floor and need no wall reinforcement. Wall hung vanities need solid fixing behind the wall sheeting, which is easiest to add during a renovation. Both need the plumbing set out to suit the cabinet.
