What is knurled hardware?

Knurling is a fine, criss-cross pattern machined into metal. It began as a way to add grip to tools, and it gives door and cabinet hardware a crafted, tactile feel. The Zephra Knurled collection carries that diamond texture across the whole home, so a door handle, a kitchen pull and a privacy lock all share the same detail.

Every piece is solid stainless steel with a PVD finish in Brushed Gold, Matte Black, Aged Bronze, Brushed Nickel or Gunmetal.

What is in the Knurled collection

Where knurled hardware works best

The texture catches the light and is satisfying to grip, so it shines on the pieces you use most: kitchen drawers, pantry doors and the bathroom door. It suits industrial, mid-century and modern classic interiors, and adds interest to plain flat-panel doors. In matte black, knurling feels bold and graphic. In brushed gold or aged bronze it feels richer and more traditional.

Knurled, Linear or Luma?

If knurling feels too busy, the Linear range swaps the diamond texture for fine straight fluting, and Luma is smooth. Many people use Knurled on cabinetry and a quieter profile on the doors, in the same finish. Match the finish to your tapware, such as brushed gold with gold tapware, for a joined-up kitchen and bathroom.
