Shower shelves and bathroom shelves

This collection covers two types of shelf.

• Shower shelves hold shampoo, conditioner and soap inside the shower. Choose from the ADP Eternal and Soul shower shelves and the Meir Curvaé 400 mm shower shelf.
• Bathroom shelves sit above or beside the basin for everyday items. Caroma makes one in each of its main ranges: Contura II, Liano II, Riviere and Urbane II.

Caroma also offers the Urbane II universal accessory shelf.

Matching your tapware

Each shelf belongs to a tapware range, so it shares the same lines and finish as the mixers. Every shelf here comes in chrome, nickel and gold, and most also come in black. Some come in bronze, gunmetal or copper. Pick the same range as your basin mixer and towel rails for a tidy, matched room.

Shelf or tiled niche?

A tiled niche is built into the wall and must be planned before framing and waterproofing. A metal shelf can be added at the end of the job, or to an existing bathroom, as long as there is something solid to fix to. Placing and fixing a shelf

• In the shower, mount the shelf away from the main spray, so bottles are not hit with water all day. Keep it within easy reach of where you stand.
• At the basin, leave enough room above the mixer and below the mirror or cabinet.
• Fix into a stud or noggin where you can, and use the right wall plugs for tiles. Ask your builder to add noggins before the walls are sheeted.
