Explore our range of bathroom tiles

A bathroom works hard, so every tile in this range is suited to wet areas. Most are porcelain, which absorbs very little water, resists stains and is easy to keep clean. You will also find ceramic tiles for walls, real marble and natural stone, plus terrazzo, handmade-look and zellige tiles for character.

Shapes run from classic subway tiles and kit kat to hexagons, herringbone and mosaics, through to large format tiles of 600 x 1200 mm and bigger.

How to choose bathroom floor and wall tiles

Floors and showers need grip. Look at the slip rating on each tile: P3 suits most bathroom floors, and P4 or P5 gives extra grip in showers and wet rooms. Matt, honed and textured finishes are safer underfoot than gloss. Filter by Slip rating to see only the tiles that suit your floor.

Walls have more freedom. Gloss reflects light and makes a small bathroom feel brighter, while thinner ceramic and decorative tiles can be used on walls that would not suit a floor. Not every wall tile is rated for floors, so check the product page before you use one tile everywhere.

Size changes the feel of the room. Large tiles mean fewer grout lines and a calmer look, and work well in small bathrooms. Small formats and mosaics follow falls in a shower floor more easily.

Bathroom tile ideas

  • Run one large-format porcelain tile across the floor and walls for a seamless, spacious look.
  • Pair a plain floor with a feature wall of zellige, fluted or 3D tiles behind the vanity.
  • Go warm and natural with travertine or limestone looks, or bold with sage green and terracotta.
  • Use a vertical stack of subway or kit kat tiles to make a low ceiling feel taller.

FAQs

How much extra tile should I order for a bathroom?

We recommend adding 10 to 15 percent to your measured area to allow for cuts and breakages. For large-format tiles such as 600 x 1200 mm and bigger, allow 20 percent. Our tile pages add 15 percent wastage for you by default.

What slip rating do I need for a bathroom floor?

P3 is the usual minimum for residential bathroom floors. For shower floors, wet rooms and accessible bathrooms, choose P4 or P5 for more grip. Every tile page lists its slip rating, and you can filter this collection by it.

Can I use the same tile on the bathroom floor and walls?

Yes, as long as the tile is rated for floors. A floor tile can go on the wall, but many wall tiles are too thin or too slippery for a floor. Check the Room and Slip rating details on the product page.

Are large tiles a good choice for a small bathroom?

Usually, yes. Fewer grout lines make a small room feel bigger and calmer. Large tiles need a flat, well-prepared floor, so talk to your tiler before you commit. Smaller tiles or mosaics are easier on a shower floor with falls.

Can I see the tiles before I buy?

Yes. Order a sample from the tile page, or visit our showroom at 407 Princes Highway, Rockdale NSW, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
