Find the right mosaic

Mosaics are small tiles mounted on mesh sheets, so you lay many pieces at once. This is one of the largest parts of our range, so start with the material or shape you want.

  • Natural stone: most of the range is real marble or travertine. Browse stone mosaic tiles or go straight to marble mosaic tiles.
  • Glass: Ezarri and Leyla glass mosaics for pool interiors and waterlines, in glass mosaic pool tiles.
  • Glazed porcelain and ceramic: even-coloured options such as the Botanica Kit Kat series, Beige and Brown Clay kit kats and Glazed Solid Square mosaics, which need no sealing.
  • Hand-glazed Japanese: Kazoku Hatsu, Sabi, Sapporo and Osaka mosaics, plus the Regia metallic 25 x 25 mm.
  • Large-format mosaic effect: Porcelanosa Nantes Mosaico Caliza gives a stone mosaic look in one 596 x 1500 mm wall tile.

Shop by shape

  • Kit kat and finger: slim stacks that wrap around curves.
  • Penny round: 23 mm and 48 mm dots.
  • Hexagon and herringbone: classic floor patterns in marble.
  • Basketweave, octagon and Castle designs, mixing Carrara with Nero, Thassos or Cinderella Grey.
  • Alhambra flower, fish scale, crazy pave, Connect and Art Deco designs for a stronger feature.

Where mosaics work

  • Shower floors: small pieces follow the fall to the drain and the grout joints add grip. Around two-thirds of the range is rated for floors.
  • Splashbacks and niches: a single sheet can turn a plain wall into a feature.
  • Pools and spas: glass mosaics are made for full immersion and waterlines.
  • Curves: mesh-backed sheets bend around curved walls, bath hobs and islands.

Care and installation

Seal marble and travertine mosaics after installation and use a pH-neutral cleaner. Glass and porcelain need no sealing. Because mosaics have far more grout than standard tiles, choose the grout colour carefully and consider a stain-resistant grout from tiling supplies. Sheets can be cut along the mesh to fit around taps, drains and edges.

FAQs

How many mosaic sheets do I need per square metre?

It depends on the sheet size, which is listed on each product page. A sheet of around 300 x 300 mm covers about 0.09 square metres, so roughly 11 sheets make a square metre. Add 10 to 15 percent for cuts.

Can mosaic tiles be used on a floor?

Many can. Stone, porcelain and some glass mosaics are rated for floors, and their grout joints add grip in a shower. Check the Room details on the product page, as some decorative and metallic mosaics are for walls only.

Are glass mosaics only for pools?

No. They are made for pools, but they also suit shower walls, splashbacks and feature walls, where their colour and shine reflect light. Glass is non-porous and needs no sealing.

Do I need a special adhesive for mosaic tiles?

Use a quality tile adhesive suited to the area, and a white adhesive for glass or light marble so it does not show through. For pools, use a flexible, water-resistant adhesive and grout made for full immersion.
