FAQs
Can I mix two kit kat colours on one wall?
Yes. Because both are kit kat mosaics, the joint lines carry through when you change colour. Try a band of Brown Clay at the base with Botanica above, or one colour per wall. Lay the sheets out dry first to check the join.
What is the difference between Pols and Portland 3.0?
Both are terrazzo look porcelain. Pols is a Spanish tile in 600 x 600 mm, and Portland 3.0 is a floor and wall range that also suits outdoor areas, shown here in Verona. Use one on the floor and the other where you want a change of pattern.
Does a gloss subway tile show water marks?
Gloss shows water spots a little more than matt, but it is also the easiest surface to wipe dry. A quick squeegee after a shower keeps it clean. Byron is handmade, so slight variation in the glaze is normal.
Do terrazzo look tiles need sealing?
No. Pols and Portland are porcelain, so they do not need sealing. Real terrazzo is different and should be sealed, so check the material on the product page if you swap in another tile.
Is this look too bold for a small bathroom?
Not if you balance it. Keep the floor in terrazzo and most walls in white gloss subway, then add the kit kat to one wall or the vanity area. The colour stays warm without closing the room in.
