Tiles are only as good as what holds them down, fills the joints and keeps them clean. This range covers the products that fix, finish and protect a tiled or stone surface, from the day it goes down to years later. They come from three brands: Sealers Plus for tile and stone care, Mapei, the Italian adhesive and grout maker, and Lithofin, the German tile care brand.

What your surface needs

Porcelain needs no sealing, but it does need a proper clean after grouting to remove haze, then a pH neutral cleaner for everyday use. Natural stone such as marble, travertine and limestone should be sealed, and cleaned with products that will not etch it or strip the sealer. Grout is the weak point in most tiled areas, so choose a good grout at the start, and clean, seal or re-colour it later if it starts to stain.
