Grip-It T Anti-Slip Tile Treatment
- Anti-slip
- Australian made
Product Description
Grip-It T makes a slippery tiled floor safer without changing how it looks. It is not a sealer and not a coating, so there is no film to wear through - it micro-etches the glaze and leaves a fine slip-resistant texture that stays put.
You control how much grip you get: spread it on, leave it five minutes, then scuff-test with a gloved hand. Not enough? Leave it longer and test again in five-minute steps, then rinse thoroughly. One litre treats about 10-15 m2.
Australian made, for glazed and unglazed ceramic, porcelain and tessellated tiles.
The formula is acidic and the effect is permanent. Test a spare tile first and keep it away from polished, metal and acid-sensitive surfaces.

Test first. Always test an inconspicuous area or a spare offcut first to confirm ease of application, the number of coats needed, colour stability and the result you want. The end user must determine the product's suitability for their own surface.
Coverage varies. Published coverage is a guide. Actual coverage varies with the density, porosity, texture and absorption of the surface, plus weather, application method and the number of coats.
Permanent surface change. This is an anti-slip treatment, not a coating. It works by micro-etching the glaze, and the effect is permanent. Keep it away from polished, metal and acid-sensitive surfaces: dark tiles and dark grout can lighten, and polished porcelain will lose its polish. Always test a spare tile first.
Handling and protective equipment. This is a professional-grade acidic treatment. Wear gloves and eye protection, do not kneel in the product, and never pour it straight from the bottle onto the floor. Keep calcium gluconate gel on hand to neutralise any skin contact, and read the SDS before you start.
Coverage, dwell and cure times are the manufacturer's published figures and vary with the density, porosity and texture of the surface. Always test an inconspicuous area first.

Not sure which one you need? Tell us the surface and the look you are after and we will match the right sealer, cleaner and applicator.
