Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover 1L
Explore Range
Product Description
The final clean after grouting. Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover is an acidic concentrate that dissolves the grout haze, cement and mortar residue left on a newly tiled floor, along with rust, limescale and most efflorescence, and rinses away without leaving a film of its own.
Dilute it about 1:4 with water (up to 1:15 for a light cement veil), spread it over the pre-wetted floor with a scrubbing brush or mop, leave it about 10 minutes, then brush and rinse well. One litre of concentrate covers roughly 20 to 30 m2.
For acid-resistant ceramic and porcelain, quarry tiles, clinker, brick and terracotta, indoors and out. It is low in odour, so it suits indoor work. Do not use it on marble, limestone or other acid-sensitive stone, enamel, zinc or anodised metal: protect them and wash off any splashes.

Test first. Always test an inconspicuous area or a spare offcut first to confirm ease of application, the number of coats needed, colour stability and the result you want. The end user must determine the product's suitability for their own surface.
Coverage varies. Published coverage is a guide. Actual coverage varies with the density, porosity, texture and absorption of the surface, plus weather, application method and the number of coats.
Coverage, dwell and cure times are the manufacturer's published figures and vary with the density, porosity and texture of the surface. Always test an inconspicuous area first.

Not sure which one you need? Tell us the surface and the look you are after and we will match the right sealer, cleaner and applicator.
