Delivery. Shipping starts from $10 and is calculated at checkout; distance-based charges are confirmed with our transport partner at the time of order. Orders must be confirmed with a deposit at least 72 hours before a booked delivery.

Unloading. Small orders (under 5 boxes, each under 25 kg) can be hand-unloaded; larger orders, skids and pallets are delivered kerbside only by Hiab crane, so please ensure safe truck access and kerbside space. A $150 redirection fee applies for incorrect or inaccessible addresses.

Interstate & samples. Interstate orders are quoted separately after ordering (up to ~12 business days); samples arrive in 1–5 business days with tracking.

Click & Collect. Prefer to collect? Choose Warehouse Pickup at checkout to collect from our Sydney warehouse in Rockdale once we confirm your order is ready — you'll receive a booking calendar to choose a time. Please check your vehicle's load capacity before collecting; responsibility for the goods passes to you on pickup. Sample click-and-collect orders are held for up to 14 days.

Check on arrival: inspect the quality and quantity of your order on delivery or pickup. Report any shortage, damage or breakage in writing with photos within 48 hours — claims cannot be accepted once tiles are installed.

Change of mind: requests must be made in writing within 7–14 days of the invoice date and are subject to the supplier confirming the same batch and tone. A 25% handling fee applies; goods must be unopened and in original condition, returned within 14 days, and returns under 3 m² are not accepted. Refunds are made by EFT within 30 days of approval.

Non-returnable: sample orders, discontinued, sale and commercial-grade items, and special / indent, natural stone and natural marble orders.

Installation. Installation should be carried out by a licensed tiler. Ensure substrates are clean, level and fully cured, and waterproof wet areas to AS 3740. Dry-lay first to check shade and pattern, mixing from several boxes to blend natural batch variation, and allow appropriate movement/expansion joints.

Wastage. Order an additional 10–15% on top of your quantity to allow for wastage. For large formats (600×1200, 750×1500, 900×1800 or larger) allow 20%. Rooms with more cuts mean more wastage — always confirm final quantities with your builder or tiler. For discontinued or clearance tiles, buy extra, as that batch may not be available later.

Size. Actual tile dimensions may vary slightly within manufacturing standards. Please consider this when planning grout joints and layouts.

Batching. Colour, shade, size and texture may vary between batches. Please contact us when re-ordering to ensure batch consistency.

Samples. Variation in colour, shade and pattern between production runs may occur and is within manufacturing standards.

Tiles are covered against manufacturing defects. Inspect all tiles before laying — claims for visible defects cannot be accepted once installed. Warranty excludes natural variation within manufacturing standards and damage from incorrect installation, unsuitable substrates or improper cleaning. Design Tiles provides no advice for installation, fixing, grouting or maintenance — please engage an experienced, licensed tiler.
