Brushed nickel tapware, showers and bathroom accessories from Caroma, Meir and ADP. A soft, warm silver finish for mixers, spouts, shower sets, towel rails and hooks.

Why choose brushed nickel

Brushed nickel sits between chrome and brass. It has the cool tone of a silver finish but a softer, satin surface and a slightly warmer colour. It suits people who find chrome too shiny and brass too bold, and it works in both classic and modern bathrooms. The brushed surface also hides fingerprints and water spots better than a mirror finish.

What you will find in nickel

This collection includes almost every type of fitting for a bathroom, laundry and kitchen:

Ranges and brands in nickel

From Caroma you can choose the Urbane II, Liano II, Riviere and Contura II ranges, which cover taps, showers and accessories in one design. Meir offers its Round, Curvaé, Harrington and Piccola ranges. ADP adds the Eternal and Soul ranges, from gooseneck shower sets to wall spouts and shower shelves. Keeping to one range makes it easy to match handle shapes as well as colour. Nickel is one of the most widely offered finishes across these brands, so it is a safe choice if you want every fitting in the room to match, from the shower rail down to the soap dispenser.

Pairing nickel with tiles

Brushed nickel looks at home with grey, white and marble-look tiles, and it softens a cool palette without adding a strong colour. It also sits well beside warm stone and timber vanities. Try it against grey tiles and marble tiles, or compare it with chrome and gunmetal before you decide. Finishes can look different under warm and cool light, so view them in person at our Rockdale showroom if you can.

FAQs

Is brushed nickel the same as brushed chrome?

No. Both have a satin brushed surface, but nickel has a slightly warmer, softer silver colour, while brushed chrome is cooler and closer to standard chrome. Compare the two side by side in our showroom if you are unsure.

Does brushed nickel tapware show water spots?

Less than polished chrome. The brushed texture hides small marks and fingerprints. Wipe it dry after use and clean it with mild soap and a soft cloth to keep the finish even.

Can I get matching nickel accessories for my taps?

Yes. Most ranges in this collection include towel rails, robe hooks, shelves and toilet roll holders in nickel, so you can keep the whole bathroom in one finish.

Does brushed nickel go with gold or black?

It can, as long as one finish leads. Keep the taps and shower in nickel and bring in black or gold through a mirror frame, lighting or hardware. Mixing two tapware finishes at the same basin usually looks unplanned.
