Three brands, many ranges

• Caroma is an Australian bathroomware brand. Its Urbane II, Liano II, Contura II and Riviere ranges each include tapware, showers and accessories.
• Meir is an Australian tapware brand known for matte black. Its Round, Piccola, Harrington and Curvaé designs come in a wide spread of finishes.
• ADP is an Australian bathroom brand. Its Eternal and Soul ranges are offered in chrome, black, gold, nickel and brushed copper.

One finish across the room

Most products come in several finishes, so you can match your taps, shower, towel rails and hooks. Nickel, gold and chrome cover almost everything. What to choose first

Some items have to be decided before your walls and floors are finished.

1. Rough-in items: in-wall bodies for wall mixers and shower mixers, floor-mounted bath fillers and the toilet set-out. Your plumber needs these before the walls are sheeted. 2. Fixing points: towel rails, hooks and shelves need noggins behind the plasterboard. 3. Trim and accessories: the visible handles, spouts and accessories go on last.
