Installation. Installation should be carried out by a licensed tiler. Ensure substrates are clean, level and fully cured, and waterproof wet areas to AS 3740. Dry-lay first to check shade and pattern, mixing from several boxes to blend natural batch variation, and allow appropriate movement/expansion joints.
Wastage. Order an additional 10–15% on top of your quantity to allow for wastage. For large formats (600×1200, 750×1500, 900×1800 or larger) allow 20%. Rooms with more cuts mean more wastage — always confirm final quantities with your builder or tiler. For discontinued or clearance tiles, buy extra, as that batch may not be available later.
