We recently had the pleasure of visiting a stunning home in Tempe that has undergone a breathtaking Art Deco-inspired renovation by Cubgroup.
The transformation of this space combines timeless elegance with modern flair, making it an exceptional blend of old-world charm and contemporary design.
As you step into the home, you’re immediately greeted by a luxurious green bathroom that sets the tone for the entire renovation.
The space features our Art Deco Series in Mint, a striking marble tile that combines Carrara, Nero Marquina stone, and mint hues to create a visually captivating pattern on the floor.
The combination of soft green and classic marble elevates the space, giving it both warmth and sophistication.
To complement the floor, the walls are adorned with our Artisan Spanish Subway Tile in Moss Green, laid vertically in a straight stacked pattern.
This choice adds a modern touch to the classic Art Deco aesthetic, breaking up the space and giving it a fresh, contemporary feel.
The pairing with gold tapware and a dark timber vanity elevates the opulence of the bathroom, while the Kingsley Tapware Range from ABI perfectly matches the elegant, vintage-inspired atmosphere of the home.

The outdoor entertaining area was designed to maintain the Art Deco theme while creating a timeless and functional space for the homeowners.
Cubgroup chose a checkerboard pattern for the floors, using our Norrock Terrazzo Look Tile in Warm White and Ivory (300×300). This classic checkered design is the perfect backdrop for alfresco dining, parties, or quiet evenings spent outdoors.
The terrazzo look tile not only offers a stylish aesthetic but is also durable and versatile for outdoor spaces.
Upstairs Ensuite: Fresh and Colourful
Moving upstairs, we enter the ensuite, where the clients requested something fresh and colourful.
The result? A stunning use of our Architectural Range Natural Stone Terrazzo Tile in Soft Pink for both the floor and half of the wall. The soft pink hue adds a playful, yet elegant touch to the space, offering a pop of colour without overwhelming the design.
To balance this, we paired the terrazzo with our Clovelly White Matt Subway Tile, laid vertically in a straight stacked pattern. This choice brings a clean and modern vibe, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere that still nods to the home’s Art Deco roots.
Upstairs Balcony: A Stunning View
One of the standout features of this home is the upstairs balcony, which offers panoramic views over Tempe and beyond, including the skyline of the city.
For the exterior space, we made sure to continue the Art Deco-inspired colour palette with the use of the Spanish Federation Series. The tiles were chosen to seamlessly blend with the home’s interior, creating a harmonious flow from the inside to the outside.
